The wines are fruit driven and made in an approachable style that are best enjoyed young. The Tertini range is perfect for alfresco dining or as an every day wine.
Tasting Notes: This wine is crimson, ruby red in colour with an earthy, savoury aroma and enjoyable strawberry, black cherry palate of good length.
Wine Analysis: Alcohol = 13.9 %, pH = 3.55, TA = 6.7g/l, Residual Sugar = 1.3g/l
Vintage & Winemaking Notes: The
2006 vintage was again generally warm and dry, making the life
of the vineyard manager a little easy than most years. The fruit
was harvested on 3rd, 4th and 5th April at 13.4 Baume. The wine
was matured in a combination of new and old oak. The picking
date of Pinot Noir is crucial so as not to 'over ripen' the fruit
to lose it's varietal characters.
Fruit Source: 100% Southern Highlands from our "Yaraandoo" vineyard
Peak Drinking: Next 2-5 years

“Like all the Tertini Pinots, very light in colour
and body, but does have length and surprising intensity.”
