2006 ‘Tertini and Knight’ Riesling

Tertini and Knight is our premium Private Cellar
Collection. These wines only use the finest fruit from the best
seasons. If the fruit is not good enough, the wine is not made.
Enjoy now or cellar to fully appreciate the complexities of these
wines.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow in colour. Ripe and
intense citrus and floral flavours. Hints of rose petals with
an intense minerally palate.
Wine Analysis: Alcohol = 10.4%,
pH = 2.82, TA = 10.4g/l, Residual Sugar = 8.0g/l
Vintage Notes: The 2006 vintage was again generally
warm and dry, making the life of the vineyard manager a little
easier than most years. The fruit was harvested on 30th March
at 12.0 Baume. Shoot and bunch thinning were practices employed
to maintain low yields and improve the quality of the fruit.
Constant fruit sampling near harvest ensured the fruit maintained
the elegant Riesling flavours with good natural acidity.
Fruit Source: 100% Southern Highlands
Peak Drinking: Next 10 years

“An exceptionally intense and vibrant
palate, with lime juice flavours obscuring other characters
which you sense more than taste; has begun its leisurely development
towards maturity.”
