PINOT
NOIR
2005 ‘Crossroads’ Pinot
Noir

Our Crossroads Range wines are designed to be easy
drinking styles showing intense primary fruit flavours with an
uncomplicated wine making style. The wines are fruit driven and
made in an approachable style that are best enjoyed young. The
Crossroads range are perfect for alfresco dining or as an every
day wine.
Tasting Notes: Colour is light-mid red. Fruit dominated aromas
of cherries and strawberries carry on to a sweet and gamey palate.
Wine Analysis: Alcohol = 12.8 %, pH = 3.6, TA = 6.3
Vintage Notes: The 2006 vintage was again
generally warm and dry, making the life of the vineyard manager
a little easy than most years. The fruit was harvested on 3rd,
4th and 5th April at 13.1 Baume. The wine was matured in a
combination of new and old oak. The picking date of Pinot Noir
is crucial so as not to ‘over ripen’ the fruit making and lose it’s
varietal characters.
