2006 ‘Eighteen55’ Riesling

Our '1855' Range of wines reflect the varietal fruit characters of each variety in a youthful and modern style. The soft and elegant palate is complemented by the full flavour of the wine. Enjoy these wines now or cellar to appreciate the complexities that develop over time.
Tasting Notes: Pale yellow colour. Ripe, intense lime and floral aromas. Fresh and minerally palate. Solid acid structure.
Wine Analysis: Alcohol = 12.1 %, pH = 2.86, TA = 9.1g/l, Residual Sugar = 6.0g/l
Vintage Notes: The 2006 vintage was again generally warm and dry, making the life of the vineyard manager a little easier than most years. The fruit was harvested on 29th March at 12.1 Baume. Yield and vine vigour was limited using new canopy management techniques ensuring the production of quality fruit.
