Our '1855' Range of wines reflect the varietal fruit characters of each variety in a youthful and modern style. The soft and elegant palate is complemented by the full flavour of the wine. Enjoy these wines now or cellar to appreciate the complexities that develop over time.

Tasting Notes: Colour is light - mid red. Lifted and gamey nose with powerful cherries dominating. A full palate with silky tannins and a clean rounded finish.

Wine Analysis: Alcohol = 12.8 %, pH = 3.5, TA = 6.8

Vintage & Winemaking Notes: The 2006 vintage in both the Southern Highlands and Orange regions experienced warm and dry weather throughout the vintage. The fruit from the Southern Highlands was harvested on 5th April at 13.1 Baume and the Orange fruit was harvested on 1st April at 13.5 Baume. The wine was matured in a combination of new and old French oak. The fruit from Orange added the structural aspects while the Southern Highlands fruit added the sweet fragrance of this wine.
