Alison Eisermann

Renowned winemaker Alison Eisermann, who joined
the Tertini Wines team in late 2007, brings a wealth of experience
and strengths to Tertini Wines including a focus on cool climate
wines, wine style development and the application of rigorous
standards to the winemaking process.
Alison has qualifications
in winemaking, microbiology and wine education and is currently
working towards completing the practical component of the internationally
recognised Master of Wine, having already gained a theory pass.
She has been involved in most aspects of the wine business from
vineyard establishment and management to winemaking, marketing
and education.
Alison’s past experience in the Southern
Highlands has been as a judge at the Southern Highlands Regional
Wine Shows in 2005 and 2006. As an active wine show judge, Alison
is a panel chairman at the London International Wine Challenge.
Alison’s assistant winemaker is Jonathan Holgate. Jonathan
has an array of experience in winemaking including positions
in the Hunter Valley and recently the Southern Highlands. He
holds a degree in Wine Science from Charles Sturt University.
